Rustavi International Motorpark is Georgia's leading international racing circuit, located just 20 km from the capital, Tbilisi. It is the only circuit in the country certified to FIA Category 2 standards, allowing it to host the majority of international racing series.The circuit's history began in 1978, when it was built as the last race track in the USSR. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the facility fell into disrepair, but in 2009, Georgian racing driver Shota Abkhazava purchased the track and invested approximately $25 million in its reconstruction. In 2012, the renovated complex was officially opened.
The main circuit is 4.14 km long with 12 turns and counter-clockwise movement. The track offers various configurations for a variety of competitions: from the 2.14 km long Configuration B to the shorter 1.338 km long Configuration C. There is also a 0.83 km long drag strip.
The complex's infrastructure includes 28 FIA-standard pit boxes, three grandstands for 7,500 spectators, and a paddock area of almost 16,000 m². For the convenience of guests, there is a restaurant, VIP lounge, and press center. The Georgian Motorsport Museum is also located here.
